Fair Trade acacia wood slotted spoon, carved by hand in the Philippines. Ideal for serving pasta, rice and vegetables, allowing water to drain away. Acacia is a fast-growing hardwood which is non-indigenous to the country, and grows along roadsides and on uncultivated land. For every tree that is cut down another one is planted. The chopping, trading and processing of the wood is controlled by the government by means of certification.DetailsAcacia wood. Wash in lukewarm soap water, not dishwasher safe. Do not soak in water.
